Once we had our fill of bourbon touring, it was time to see what else Kentucky had to offer. Of course, according to our tour guides, it is either basketball, horses or bourbon but we found some wholesome fun nearby that wasn’t any of the Kentucky big three.
One Year on the Road
We had made a post after 6 months on the road, providing data on what it costs us and the kinds of sites we’ve been staying at. Well, we’re now past the one year mark (hard to believe!) and we figured we would give a full year report.

Down East
After leaving Dan’s cousin’s house on the shores of South Twin outside of Millinocket, we traveled about 100 miles southeast to coastal Maine.
