We left the Glacier National Park area and made several stops working our way across the big state of Montana. Our next milestone location was Theodore Roosevelt National Park but we had some interesting times on our way there.

Utah & Colorado
After parting ways with our friends, Jim & Corinne, we headed north into Utah. We planned to stay a week in Kanab and then hook up with fellow full-time RVers, Rob and Laura in Hatch, UT, just south of Bryce Canyon National Park. From there we planned to go into Colorado and potentially land at Amy’s sister’s place for several days.

After waiting out the high winds, it was time to move on and leave Death Valley behind. Our current plans were to work our way towards Sedona for some boondocking. We routed ourselves through the south side of Las Vegas with the intent of checking out Boulder City and Hoover Dam. We had heard about some nice boondocking opportunities on a dry lake bed near Jean, Nevada so we decided that would make a good first stop.

We are officially back on the move and have spent the past week plus in Ohio. It’s good to be on the move and experiencing new places. To get from the Rochester area to our first destination in Ohio, we needed a one night stop so we consulted Harvest Hosts for a location and found a gem.
