We are officially back on the move and have spent the past week plus in Ohio. It’s good to be on the move and experiencing new places. To get from the Rochester area to our first destination in Ohio, we needed a one night stop so we consulted Harvest Hosts for a location and found a gem.

Down East
After leaving Dan’s cousin’s house on the shores of South Twin outside of Millinocket, we traveled about 100 miles southeast to coastal Maine. We setup at Timberland Acres RV Park just outside of Ellsworth, ME and a 20 minute drive from Acadia National Park. We had plans in place to visit with more family and childhood friends.

After over 2 months in the Rochester, NY area spending time with our new grandson, we are back on the road once again. Before heading south and west, we wanted to take a quick trip to Maine to visit family and enjoy our original home state. This post covers our first week and a half spent mooch docking (camping for free in a relative’s driveway) at Dan’s sister’s and his cousin’s houses.
